Odors come from many different sources. Below are some solutions that we carry. For carpet odors, we like to let everyone know that using Carpet Fresh will ruin your vacuum (we've seen it so many times). So if you are going to use it, make sure to use an older vacuum or one your don't care much about. What happens is that the Carpet Fresh powder particles are so small that they get through the vacuum bag and into the inner workings of the motor, burning it out. For any other type of odor that is naturally occurring, such as vomit, urine or other pet odors, we frequently recommend Joe Campanelli products, specifically their Pet and More Odor Eliminator. For other problems with odor coming from your vacuum, first clean out your vacuum, then if you are still having problems try using some of our vacuum fragrances, which go inside the bag and release a more pleasant smell. They come in a many scents, all listed below. If in the end, none of these methods work, we suggest looking at some machines that utilize charcoal filters, such as Miele canister vacuums. Charcoal filters completely kill odor before it leaves the vacuum cleaners exhaust.
